Cookie policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on our website at www.dnballstars.com, what each one does and how long it lasts. It is part of our privacy policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Some sites also use your browser’s local storage, which works in a similar way. We list both below.
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. Until you press Accept, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and the Meta and TikTok pixels don’t load at all. If you press Reject, none are set. We use Google Consent Mode: until you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads set no cookies and only receive basic, cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed), which Google uses to estimate overall visitor numbers without identifying you. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete our analytics and advertising cookies from your browser.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn’t identify you, so it runs whatever you choose in the cookie banner.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
Analytics (only if you accept)
Advertising (only if you accept)
Email sign-up (Klaviyo)
We don’t use Klaviyo’s tracking cookies on this website. When you sign up for updates, the email address and any regions you tick are sent to Klaviyo, our email provider, so we can send you what you asked for. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email. See our privacy policy.
Ticket checkout (FIXR and Megatix)
Our ticket buttons open checkout from our ticketing partners, FIXR and Megatix, on top of our page. Their scripts load on event pages so this works, but they don’t set cookies on our website when a page loads. Once you open a checkout you are using their service, and they may set their own cookies under their own cookie policies.
Other websites
Video links take you to YouTube, and our shop is at shop.dnballstars.com (run on Shopify). We don’t embed YouTube players, so YouTube sets no cookies on our website. Those sites have their own cookie policies.
Ticket sales measurement (Seeka)
Only if you press Accept, we also load Seeka, a measurement service we use across our ticket websites and inside the Megatix checkout. It lets us see which of our adverts led to a ticket sale. Seeka in turn loads the advertising and analytics tools we have connected to it: Google Ads, TikTok, a second Meta pixel and a second Google Analytics property that we use for ticket sales, and Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how pages are used. None of these load if you reject or haven’t chosen yet, and if you withdraw your consent we delete them from your browser.
When you open the Megatix checkout from our website, it tells our Google Analytics which steps happen there (for example that checkout was started or a ticket was bought, with the order value), and tells Google Ads when a ticket is bought, so we can measure ticket sales and our adverts. This follows the same cookie choice you made here.
Managing cookies
As well as using Cookie settings, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage means we will ask for your cookie choice again on each visit.
Changes to this policy
If we add or change any cookies, we will update the lists above and the date at the top of this page.
